The potable water and sanitation sector in various governorates of Egypt (cities and villages) is witnessing a breakthrough in the development of water projects and the establishment of an integrated infrastructure with the aim of fortifying water resources, providing a clean water cup, and introducing sanitation service to deprived areas in cities and villages.

Hayah Karima initiative which is realized by president Abdelfattah Elsisi is considered one of the most contributing steps to improve the life style of the most needy social categories in the whole country by establishing developing infrastructure projects which is done by the country to facilize the main services delivery to the citizen.

Several Contributing and national projects have been implemented one of them is implementing sewage treatment stations and drinking water purification stations in all villages specially the most needy to deliver potable water to the citizen and treating sewage water to benefit from it in irrigation.

Drilling By sinking:

  • Preparing site by specifying yard diameter and drilling a depth not less than 2m to put the sow
  • Execution the sow which is a circular metal section with sharp edge to down the yard easily on the drilling bottom level .
  • Then the stage of implementing concrete yard walls comes.
  • after pouring yard walls with a height not less than 3m we starting drilling inside the yard by using rams to descend it under the effect of its wight for reaching the designed level.
  • As the groundwater is founded we install the decoveel beams (H.E.B) in its specified place to resist the water uplift force on the raft by putting metal pipes with the yard height to pull water outside the yard then put a layer of bricks under the raft with filling pores with cement paste to level the surface due to pour plane and reinforced foundations.

implement a sewage lift plant by sinking in terms of civil, mechanical and electrical works and make a pumping line with 3500m length to pump water into sewage treatment station.

  • Receiving water from collective lines which collect sewage water into the lifting station to store it due to pump the required quantity of water to the treatment station by pumping line.

  • Protect environment, water recourses and human life.
  • Reuse treated water and treated hard biological waste in agricultural irrigation.
  • Reducing the consumption of fresh water specially in dry areas.
  • introducing new crops and increasing green area which ensures reduction of environmental pollution.
  • Increasing awareness to citizen of the dangerous of excessive water consumption with no limit.
  • Everlasting development of treatment methods to limit spreading pollutants in environment.
